Pro-Tech Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electric To Sponsor All-New Solar System Display At ?Asian Lantern Festival, Presented By Publix

New out-of-this-world lantern display to light up this year’s festival at the Central Florida Zoo

SANFORD, Fla. (Oct. 16, 2026) — The Asian Lantern Festival: Into the Wild, presented by Publix, is reaching for the stars this year with an all-new solar system lantern display, sponsored by Pro-Tech Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electric.

The Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens is proud to announce Pro-Tech as the sponsor of the new solar system display. A longtime supporter of the Asian Lantern Festival, Pro-Tech has sponsored the festival’s largest lantern display in previous years, helping bring some of its most spectacular attractions to life. This year, the company is continuing that tradition with a dazzling journey through the cosmos.

“Asian Lantern Festival continues to give us opportunities to create new and exciting experiences for our guests, and this year’s solar system display is truly going to be out of this world,” said CEO Richard E. Glover, Jr. “We’re grateful to Pro-Tech for helping us bring this new display to life and for their continued commitment to supporting the Central Florida community.”

This wildly popular event will illuminate the Zoo beginning November 13, 2026, and run select nights through January 17, 2027.

This year’s displays will take guests on a journey through space, North American animals, the Polar experience and traditional Chinese lanterns, blending color, light and sound to create a celebration of art, culture, nature and imagination. Among the new highlights is a solar system display, inviting guests to explore the wonders of space through vibrant, larger-than-life lanterns.

“Pro-Tech is proud to support the Asian Lantern Festival and help bring something completely new to the event this year,” said Glenn Good, General Manager. “We’re always looking for ways to give back to the community we call home, and there’s something special about helping create an experience that families and friends can enjoy together. We’re excited to see guests light up when they see the solar system display for the first time.”

Through October 31, general admission tickets are just $25 each or $79.96 for a Family 4-Pack. Annual Passholders save even more with presale pricing at $21 per ticket or $74 for a Family 4-Pack.
