Central Florida Rallies for Childhood Cancer Research with 2nd Annual Community-Wide Bake Sale

Bake Sales Across Central Florida to Support Childhood Cancer Research – Because Kids Deserve to Be Kids

Central Florida is about to get a whole lot sweeter. From September 5–7, 2025, local businesses and community members from Sanford to Oviedo, Longwood to Altamonte Springs are teaming up for the 2nd Annual Central Florida Bake Sale benefiting Cookies for Kids’ Cancer — a national nonprofit dedicated to funding groundbreaking research for childhood cancer.

With childhood cancer still the #1 disease killer of children in the U.S., and research drastically underfunded, this grassroots effort proves that change can start with something as simple as a cookie.

Highlighted Events Include:

  • Main Event: Dee’s Brothers Brewery – Sanford, September 6
  • Texas Roadhouse – Sanford, September 5 (hosted by Ladies 327)
  • Rock and Brews – Oviedo
  • Valhallan Esports – Altamonte Springs
  • Rosso Coffee – Longwood
  • Comfort Inn – Sanford
  • And more to come

Exact times and locations may vary. For full event details, visit the “Cookies for Kids’ Cancer – Florida” Facebook page to follow along.

Whether you’re a local business, community group or an individual with a sweet tooth and a big heart, there’s still time to get involved. And if the main weekend doesn’t work for you, no problem — September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and any day is the perfect day to get involved.
