The Rotary Club of Lake Mary is organizing a gigantic cycling event called “Champions Ride for Charities” on October 20, 2019 (Sunday) to bring awareness of the benefits of having a healthy and active lifestyle doing cycling and raising funds for the Seminole County Charitable causes.
Lake Mary Rotary has been organizing this cycling event since 2012. This is the seventh year of organizing the event. Last year, there were 423 cyclists who participated in the community champions in Seminole County. During the 6th Annual Champions Ride for Charities, hosted by The Rotary Club of Lake Mary, participants pedaled to raise $35,000, which will positively impact the lives of local residents.
“We are thrilled that one of Florida’s most popular rides has also grown into a successful fundraiser for local charities,” said Rotarian Brian Bacon. “It’s inspiring to watch cyclists ride alongside each other with a shared mission and passion for this community.”
Funds raised from the event are awarded to local charities.
