"DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IS YOUR BUSINESS" Lunch and Learn
Join the Office of Health Promotion and Education with the Florida Department of Health in Seminole County for this month's lunch and learn. Bring your lunch and an appetite to learn from our special guest speakers!
- Six billion is spent on the annual cost of domestic violence to U.S. businesses. Over 4.1 billion is used for direct medical and mental health services.
- One in eight employed victims lose work time to obtain a restraining order, to testify in court, and because of fear for their safety.
- Forty percent of senior corporate executives were personally aware of a survivor of domestic violence in the workplace.
