Cacao All The Parts - Farmhouse Ale 8%

This ale is every iteration of cacao we could conjure. Just think "deconstructed cacao". Expect a dense, crisp, earthy brew with a deep, dark chocolate smoothness, a touch of bitter funk, and phantom notes of citrus on the nose. Still not convinced it's enough cacao? We mashed cacao husks, boiled fresh cacao fruit pods, and fermented the ale with a rare strain of wild yeast harvested from the previously thought extinct Pure Nacional variety of cacao from Peru’s Marañón Canyon, then rested the dark, chocolatey brew on pure cacao nibs. Shew! That's a mouthful (of cacao)!
