Description

The Candy Cane 5K will begin at 8 a.m. and, yes, Santa will be there to greet runners as they run, jog or walk across the finish line. Following the 5K will be a free Kid's Dash. All participants will receive a T-shirt, and there will be awards and trophies presented during the course of the event for different categories. Local vendors will be present, and food will be available as will, of course, hot chocolate. Registration is only $25 until December 7, and $30 from December 8 to 12. On the day of the race, registration will be $35 and will only be accepted in cash or check. For youth ages 17 and younger who would like to participate in the actual 5K, registration is $15 until December 12. On the day of the race, youth pricing will change to $35.
