VyStar Foundation is proud to open its annual Military Grant Cycle on March 2, 2026, providing funding to nonprofit organizations dedicated to improving the lives of active-duty military members, veterans and their families. The grant program supports organizations working to address some of the most critical challenges facing the military community across VyStar’s service areas.
For the 2026 cycle, VyStar Foundation will prioritize programs that address food and housing insecurity, workforce development and access to mental health services for military members, veterans, and their families.
“Our military members, veterans and their families continue to face real and evolving challenges, and VyStar Foundation is committed to standing alongside the organizations that support them,” said VyStar Foundation President Patricia McElroy. “Through our Military Grant Program, we are investing in nonprofits that deliver meaningful, measurable solutions - helping provide stability, expand opportunity and ensure those who have served our country have access to the resources they need to thrive.”
VyStar Foundation will award grants to eligible nonprofit organizations, with the number and funding amounts determined by the Foundation’s Board of Directors based on the quality and impact of applications received.
To support organizations interested in applying, VyStar Foundation will host virtual grant information sessions on the following dates:
